What a week it’s been! We operated on two elbows and did three TPLOs as well as reviews with the fantastic team at Animal Vets in Hayle today, then over to Truro College to set up our stand for tomorrow’s Cornwall Veterinary Association CPD day, where Colin is giving a lecture on practical orthopaedic radiography.

Earlier in the week we’ve visited practices in Truro, Falmouth, Redruth and Penzance, performing procedures including large breed complex radius/ulna fracture repair; spinal decompression; BOAS and skin fold surgery; hip fracture repair; salivary gland removal and TPLO.

On Thursday the team had a pause whilst Colin was virtually attending Royal College Council, though a hip fracture call meant an early finish and a swift trundle down the A30 to get Albie sorted.

Looking forward to seeing the 107 vet and vet nurse delegate colleagues who are gathering for the CPD day tomorrow, with our first go at a Trade Stand.

What do you think of our effort? We have giveaways of cool bags, pens and bottle openers, plus plenty of biscuits, so if you’re going along, come and say hi!
