Two autoclaves arrived and installed today, with the guidance throughout the process from selection to installation of Dennis from Midmark.
From the very outset, we knew a team approach to our business was absolutely key – a successful surgical procedure is the product of the whole clinical team – and this ‘gearing up’ process has illustrated many aspects of that already.
We’ve gathered the insight and advice of many vets and nurses on machines and their capabilities (from the extensive range of choices available) and as always within this wider vet profession, colleagues have been very generous with their help and support.
Having two machines will enable us to process all kits rapidly from full surgical lists, ready for the next day’s cases.
Now, we’ve just got to work out what to name this pair – Artie and Clive?
