Over the last week we’ve done double practice visits each day, visiting our regular hosts for new cases, operations and 2week/6week post-op reviews, and then travelling on to see urgent cases each day- fractures and pressing soft-tissue cases.
Urgent surgeries have included two radial fractures, two pelvic fractures and soft-tissue hernia and prolapse. Our images feature little Bambi, the cutest Italian Greyhound pup, and our full 1.5mm/2mm locking and compression plating kit that we used to repair her broken leg.
We’ve also seen case reviews of several TPLO patients, all healing nicely, and BOAS soft-tissue cases.
And yesterday, we were at Vets4PetsFalmouth when Colin got the official happy news he’d been elected by the profession to sit on the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons Council for a four year term, starting this summer.
